Frequently Asked Questions

Why does the calculator return a range instead of an exact price?+

Because the cost of a regularization depends on variables that only become clear once the file is reviewed: the state of the title, the number of heirs, whether there are unpermitted structures, the commune and the size of the plot. A closed price offered without reviewing the file usually ends in extra charges along the way.

Does it cover regularizing the house and final building approval?+

No. This calculator estimates the procedures affecting the land and its ownership: title, inheritance, regularization and surveying. Regularizing what has been built before the Works Department is calculated from different parameters, mainly the fiscal appraisal and the built area, and is therefore estimated separately.

Why does the size of the plot change the result?+

Because fieldwork grows with the size of the property. Measuring and georeferencing half a hectare is not the same as doing it across five, and the regularization file for a large plot requires more documentation. Above 5,000 square metres the calculator adjusts the range gradually.

Can I combine several procedures?+

Yes, and in most cases that is what applies. An inherited plot without title usually requires a title study, probate and regularization, in that order. Ticking everything you need shows the real cost of the whole process rather than a single stage.
