Payment methods
How to pay for our legal and surveying services, when payment falls due and which tax document you receive.
Quick answer: we accept bank transfer and debit or credit card. As a general rule, half is paid at the start and half on completion, unless the quote sets other stages. Our fees are exempt from VAT, and we issue an invoice or a receipt, whichever you need. If you have any problem paying, you can talk it through directly with a member of the team.
Ways to pay
Bank transfer
From any bank in Chile. We send you the account details together with your quote, by WhatsApp or email. We do not publish them on the site, so nobody can copy them and pose as us.
Debit or credit card
Pay online with Transbank’s Webpay, by debit, credit or prepaid card. With a credit card you can pay in instalments, on the terms your bank offers.

Payment is made in the Webpay form, Transbank’s system. It opens in the name of Terreno en Regla, and you enter your card details there: we never receive or store them.
- Have the amount due to hand, exactly as it appears on your quote.
- Press the button. In Webpay, enter your email address and that amount, and pay by debit, credit or prepaid card.
- Transbank emails you the receipt.
- Send us that receipt on WhatsApp together with your quote number, so we can match the payment to your matter.

- The Webpay form has no field for the quote number. That is why we ask you for the receipt: it tells us which service the payment is for.
- If your quote is in US dollars, write to us before paying and we will give you the amount in pesos.
When you pay
The quote we send you before starting states what the service costs and when each payment falls due. These are the options:
| Option | How it works |
|---|---|
| Half and half | 50% when the work starts and 50% when it is finished. This is the general rule. |
| In stages | When the service has several stages, the quote states how much is paid at each one. |
| Credit card instalments | You pay the full amount with your card and your bank splits it into instalments, on the terms you have with it. |
| Instalments with us | You can agree instalments directly with the firm when you accept the quote. |
Invoice or receipt
Our fees are exempt from VAT. We issue a VAT-exempt invoice (factura exenta) or a VAT-exempt receipt (boleta exenta), whichever you need. If a company is paying for the service and needs an invoice, give us its registered name and its RUT when you accept the quote.
If you live outside Chile
We can quote you in Chilean pesos or in US dollars. Webpay accepts cards issued outside Chile: the charge is made in Chilean pesos and your bank converts it into your currency.

- We will never ask for your card details by WhatsApp, email or phone.
- We only send transfer details together with your quote.
- If you receive payment instructions you were not expecting, or from a number or email address other than those on this site, check them with us before paying.
